MATTHEW D'OR

INTRODUCTION

Matthew D’or, Lord Matthew, or simply Matthew, is the current overlord of hell, estranged son of Goddess Moa, and former prince of Heaven. He currently resides in a great concrete palace in the main sector of hell.

PERSONALITY

A distant, indifferent, and seemingly unemotional man. Matthew, even if he wouldn’t tell anyone, seeks love above all else (granted, in a twisted form that manifests more as control and dominance). Indeed, his main goal is to usurp the throne of God, so that the entire universe may revolve around worshiping him, in order to fill the void left by his dear mother, Moa. His mere presence is oppressive. All chatter goes silent in any room he enters, the air stands still, and all eyes pan nervously to him, just as he prefers it to be. Despite all his power, Matthew is no less prisoner in Hell than his subordinates. He is greatly embarrassed by feeling anything, even more so by letting it show. He lives in a perpetual state of hopelessness, fear, sadness, and hatred, and he vents it onto his underlings at random. It could be said that he never truly grew out of being a child, but simply learned how to pretend he did.
